Experience
- More than 30 years experience in the financial services industry
- More than 15 years experience operating my own professional accounting practice (starting on a part-time basis, but as my client base grew from referrals, I made the switch to full time in 2006)
Community Involvement
I strongly believe in giving back to the community.
Since moving to the Midland area in 1983 I have served on the boards of Big Brothers, The Arthritis Society, Junior Achievement, Scouts Canada and L’AHEFH. I have been a volunteer in the Jackrabbit Ski program at the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre and a referee for North Simcoe Youth Soccer.
I am an active member and past president of the Midland Y’s Men’s Club, a group cycling leader at the YMCA and sit on their Member Advisory Committee. In 2007, I was pleased to accept an invitation to serve as the Treasurer for the Huronia Communities Foundation, and completed my term there in 2011.
